Each year, Spread Love dedicates our most October installation to one of our musical fathers, FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI. From traditional African rhythms and new music of this millenium, Spread Love presents FELABRATION ~ an interactive musical and cultural experience in response to Fela's call to action and enduring spirit.
Due to the outstanding response to Spread Love's annual FELABRATION, we're now engaged in a partnership with Knitting Factory, the backers of the FELA! musical tour.
We are honored and excited about this partnership. And we invite you to come and Spread some more Love for FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI at the kick off event on February 15th and then join us at the Emmy-award winning FELA! musical which will be playing at the gorgeous Fox Theatre, February 28 through March 3.
